Farina Rossa x Perennial Percent
Farina Rossa Kitchen is proud to participate in The Land Institute’s Perennial Percent labeling program, an innovative initiative designed to encourage the adoption of perennial grains in food products.
Launched in October 2024, Perennial Percent is the world’s first product‑labeling initiative specifically for foods or beverages that contain at least 1% of Kernza perennial grain, such as our flour. Because perennials are only planted once and harvested for multiple years, it empowers consumers to help keep soil in place and reduce carbon emissions through their purchases.
Perennial Percent products mark a brand’s commitment to transitioning food ingredients toward move sustainable and ecologically-resilient systems, while also building consumer trust and awareness around regenerative agriculture. By integrating Kernza into our products and proudly displaying the Perennial Percent label, we are showing our commitment to this transformative agricultural shift.
